COME TO GRIEF
Screenplay by Linda Corby & Cathy Jourdan
Based on the powerful true story behind the book
Bad Blood By Linda Corby book on Amazon
She was blamed for everything.
Abused by her adoptive mother.
Terrorized by makeshift séances at the dining room table.
Forced to endure a violent exorcism.
She lost two children.
Then a bestselling author stole her life — and sold it as fiction.
Come to Grief is a raw, autobiographical screenplay based on the real experiences of Linda Corby. From a childhood dominated by emotional violence and religious manipulation — including a traumatic exorcism triggered by a homemade Ouija board — Linda's story is one of surviving the impossible.
As she grows, the trauma only deepens: systemic betrayal, public sabotage, and the unthinkable pain of losing two children. But when she learns that a bestselling author has taken her life and twisted it into a novel, Linda fights to expose the truth — and protect the memory of the children she lost.

Dedication
These stories are published in memory of my daughter, Natasha Daphne May Corby,
who passed on 27.7.90, aged twelve. She called them "lovely children's fairy
stories with a proper and moral twist."
Giving Back
Fifty per cent of all proceeds are donated to the children's hospice, "Oakwell," as requested by Natasha. The remainder helps fund this website and keep the magic
spreading far and wide. Author Note
The name Susan was chosen while remembering my school friend Susan Potter (now
Susan Porter). She had no role in shaping the stories but was fondly in mind
when naming the character.
